Citadel Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Supervisor RN to join our team in Rockford, IL. This role provides leadership and oversight to nursing staff during non-business hours, ensuring proper staffing, workflow, and quality patient care.

You will act as the highest on-site authority after-hours and weekends, making timely decisions related to patient care and operations. The position requires current RN licensure in Illinois, CPR certification, and a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience,

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited College or University.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide oversight and leadership to all on-duty nursing staff during non-business hours. Ensure proper staffing levels, monitor workflow, and assist with prioritizing patient care tasks.
• Act as the highest-ranking on-site authority during after-hours and weekends. Make timely decisions related to patient care, staffing, safety, and operations.
• Collaborate with other departments when needed and upscale issues appropriately.
• Develops and maintains care standards.
• M akes frequent rounds to note resident/patient conditions and to ensure nursing personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards.
• Gives and receives the nursing report upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.
• Ensures assigned work area (i.e. nurse station, med. Cart, medication room, etc.), resident/patient care rooms and treatment areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.
• Performs administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
• Provides direct nursing care as necessary and as department needs may dictate.
• Ensures that all restorative care notes are informative and descriptive of the treatment provided and of the resident’s response to the care.
• Informs nursing service personnel of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment etc.
• All other duties, as assigned.
