Job summary

Citadel Care Centers is seeking an RN Weekend Supervisor to oversee the Nursing Department, supporting the Director and Assistant Director in planning, organizing, and directing day-to-day operations. The role ensures quality clinical care compliant with regulations and coordinates with physicians for orders and outcomes.

The position requires substantial nursing experience, including leadership, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home or other healthcare setting.
• Minimum 1-year experience as a nurse supervisor.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Supervises clinical care planning and delivery processes to ensure quality patient care.
• Assesses residents upon admission and with condition changes.
• Performs rounds to evaluate patient condition.
• Delivers or assists with direct patient care including activities of daily living and medications.
• Obtains and implements Physician Orders, ensuring accuracy.
• Coordinates communication between shifts about changes in resident status.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors.
• Provides clinical assessment to MD/NPs on call for quality outcomes.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Current RN license

Peripheral IV certification

CPR/BLS certified

English language proficiency
