Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking an RN for a full-time night shift in Rockford, IL. You will provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, assessing patients, planning care, administering medications, and evaluating outcomes alongside an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire; BSN preferred.
• RN license in state of practice; CPR/BLS within 90 days.
• Unit-specific certifications as required (ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per standards of care.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Develops, initiates, and executes patient care plans.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and safety escalation when needed.
