Job summary

TFI Family Services seeks a Crisis Support Worker to help children after hours, including transport to foster homes and assisting in moderate crises. This is a full-time role with a rotating on-call weekend every four weeks.

We offer flexible scheduling and remote work options, 20 days personal leave in the first year and 25 days after year one, plus 12 paid holidays. A company car, cell phone and computer are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous work serving children and families preferred; training provided.
• Must communicate clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist children after hours; transport to foster homes as needed.
• Provide support in moderate crisis situations.
• May accompany a child in hospital or at various offices; rotate weekend on-call hours.
