Job summary

TFI Family Services in Kansas is seeking a Crisis Support Worker. The role is full-time with two rotating shifts, and a company car, cell phone, and compute are provided.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and involves assisting children in crisis after hours across offices in the area. We value compassionate individuals who communicate clearly, are eager to learn, and want to help children grow and build coping skills.

  • Be with a child in hospital or at multiple offices; weekend on-call rotation every four weeks.

****Average hourly rate is $14.55 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.)****

***Two shifts are available: Monday - Thursday 4p to 2a and Monday - Thursday 12a - 10a. Both shifts will require a rotating on-call weekend once every four weeks. ****

We are looking for Crisis Support Worker to add to our team! A High School diploma or equivalent is required. Previous work experience demonstrating competency in a role serving children and families preferred. We will teach you the rest!

A Day in The Life as a Crisis Support Worker

As a Crisis Support Worker, you will assist with children after hours. These situations may include, transporting a child to their new foster home or helping a child in moderate crisis. This is a full-time position. Support Workers may be asked to be with a child in a hospital or any of our numerous offices in the area. We do provide a company car, cell phone and compute. This position requires a rotation of weekend on call hours once every four weeks.

We want someone who has a desire to help children grow, learn, and build healthy coping skills and a strong desire to advocate for children!
