Job summary

IDEX Corporation seeks a field-focused professional to support Advanced Flow Solutions (AFS) product applications across customer sites. You will train customers, install and test AFS products, and collaborate with engineering to refine specifications and VOC data. Travel will be frequent to support customers and OEMs.

The role requires strong knowledge of vehicle and hydraulic systems, and hands-on ability with wiring harnesses, testing, and technical presentations to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 5+ years related experience required.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and communicate with customers.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide IDEX AFS training for customers at all levels.
• Install, functional test and report on IDEX Fire and Safety AFS products.
• Assist in development of OEM and end-user specifications.
• Assist in collecting and reporting VOC data.
• Perform sales and customer service duties on and off site.
• Act as subject matter expert for IDEX AFS systems with the commercial team.
• Identify product gaps and communicate to product management/engineering.
• Design wiring harness as required.
• Support engineering with application testing of new products.
• Assist OEM customers and dealers with end-user education.
• All other duties as assigned.
