Lynd Management Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to support operations and regulatory compliance for an affordable multifamily property in the Pittsburgh area. The role emphasizes resident service, accurate file maintenance, and HUD program compliance.

The successful candidate will manage leasing, certifications, audits, and reporting using HUD systems like EIV, TRACS, and iMAX. Local travel is required; Lynd offers a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Two years of affordable housing property management, leasing, or compliance experience.
• Familiarity with HUD programs (HUD Handbook 4350.3, Section 8, LIHTC, HOME).
• Experience with certifications, recertifications and file reviews.
• Knowledge of HUD systems (EIV, TRACS, iMAX) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager with daily operations and affordable housing compliance.
• Support leasing, renewals, occupancy, collections, and resident relations.
• Process applications, leases, deposits, certifications, and recertifications.
• Review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain resident files, waiting lists, and compliance records.
• Collect rent, post payments, and assist with delinquent accounts.
• Prepare deposits, reports, PO's and invoices.
• Assist with audits and inspections, and correct audit findings.
