MMS Group is seeking an experienced Property Manager for affordable housing properties in Baton Rouge, LA. The role oversees operations, rent collection, resident relations, and budget management to ensure financial and regulatory compliance.

You will lead site staff, coordinate with maintenance, and ensure high-quality property standards while navigating government programs and certifications for affordable housing.

Competenze

• Minimum 3+ years of residential multifamily/property management experience, with at least 2 years in affordable housing.
• Associate degree in Marketing and/or Business preferred.
• Knowledge of Section 8, LIHTC, and government regulations for affordable housing.
• LIHTC Certification preferred.
• Experience with RealPage OneSite or similar PM software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Oversee daily property operations and ensure financial performance.
• Collect rent and related fees promptly.
• Address resident concerns professionally and maintain positive relations.
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventive upkeep and make-readiness processes.
• Prepare and monitor operating budgets with regional/corporate inputs.
• Manage accounting tasks, invoices, evictions, and resident charges.
• Hire, train, and supervise site staff for high performance.
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure compliance with standards.
• Complete income verifications to meet government eligibility requirements.
