Job summary

RHF is seeking an Occupancy Compliance Specialist in Long Beach, CA to support regulatory compliance across affordable housing communities. The role focuses on tax credit and regulated housing programs, coordinating with Regional Managers, site teams, and the Occupancy Manager to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.

You will review certifications, move-ins/move-outs, and occupancy data, monitor deadlines, and ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory agreements across multiple projects

Qualifications

• Five years minimum experience with LIHTC, BOND, CRA, Major Project, HOME and Land Use requirements.
• COS certification is required; Tax Credit certifications are required.
• Experience with affordable housing occupancy compliance and recertifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review LIHTC recertifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Assess move-ins/move-outs against income, eligibility, and rent limits.
• Track recertification deadlines and communicate delays toOccupancy Manager.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with LIHTC, BOND, CRA, HOME, Major Project and Land Use.
• Review Urban Futures reporting and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Perform tenant file reviews across multiple states for applicable programs.
• Update program income limits in OneSite as needed.
• Troubleshoot LIHTC, BOND, CRA, Major Project and Land Use system issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
