Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Sleep Spruce, an affordable housing community. The role supports maintenance across property operations, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic work, under supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Key duties include responding to work orders, maintaining safety and OSHA guidelines, and assisting with make-ready tasks. On-site presence is required, with on-call emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to use on-site software and basic computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Assist with make-ready process under supervision.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program and safety standards.
• Conduct daily inspections of grounds, buildings, and common areas.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.

Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
