Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to read blueprints, fabricate precision metal components, and produce high-quality welds across MIG, TIG, and Stick processes in an onsite setting in Penrose, CO with a transition to Pueblo, CO. You will support production quality for mission-critical manufacturing programs.

The role requires strong welding proficiency, blueprint interpretation, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with welding experience or completion of a welding program.
• Proficiency in MIG and/or TIG welding across materials.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of metal properties and fabrication techniques.
• Self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine fabrication specs.
• Set up and operate welding equipment across MIG, TIG, Stick to meet specs.
• Cut, shape, and fit metal parts per engineering specs.
• Inspect welds and parts for quality and maintain records.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members on projects.
