Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join the onsite team in Penrose, CO, with a path to Pueblo, CO. You will read blueprints, fabricate metal components, and produce high-quality welds across multiple processes, supporting production quality and facility builds.

The role requires reading blueprints, performing MIG/TIG welding, and adhering to safety standards in a fast-paced startup environment. Minimal travel, onsite at Penrose with potential relocation to Pueblo.

Qualifications

• Two years welding/fabrication experience or completion of a welding trade program with hands-on proficiency.
• Proficiency in MIG and/or TIG welding with ability to produce high-quality welds across materials.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine fabrication specs.
• Set up and operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick) to meet standards.
• Cut, shape and fit metal parts per engineering specs; fabricate components from raw materials.
• Inspect welds and fabricated parts for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Follow safety protocols; maintain clean, organized work area per OSHA.
