Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Warehouse Worker in Middletown, CT to perform material handling, shipping/receiving, and inventory tasks in a large aerospace manufacturing setting. You will verify paperwork, update work orders, and move products safely using carts and pallet jacks while communicating in English.

The role offers full-time hours on-site with weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities to develop aerospace material handling skills through structured processes and modern inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling, preferably 2+ years.
• Experience in packing boxes and preparing shipments.
• Ability to read and write English clearly for documentation.
• Proficient computer use for inventory and orders.
• Experience in shipping and receiving operations.
• Able to stand for the full shift.

Responsibilities

• Verify paperwork, work orders, and shipping instructions for accuracy before processing materials.
• Perform kitting: gather, organize, and prepare components per work orders.
• Pick, pack, and prepare boxes for shipment with proper labeling.
• Handle shipping and receiving: check inbound materials and document transactions.
• Load and unload materials with push carts or pallet jacks.
• Move product safely around the facility following procedures.
• Use a computer to update work orders and inventory records.
• Support assembly-related material needs by ensuring parts are available.
• Keep shipping, receiving, packing, and inventory areas organized.
• Communicate clearly in English with team and supervisors.
• Follow safety guidelines and use equipment properly.
• Stand for extended periods during the shift.
