Job summary

BARNES is hiring a Material Coordinator for the East Hartford Operations, 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm. The role focuses on shipping/receiving, material storage, and expediting orders in an aerospace production setting.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years in aerospace production, strong data-driven problem solving, and proficiency with Word/Excel and Syteline 10 ERP. Forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years aerospace production experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Problem solving based on data and instructions.
• Ability to interpret travelers and work instructions.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; experience with Syteline 10 ERP.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving for finished goods, semi-finished goods, raw materials, and tooling.
• Maintain and organize material storage areas daily.
• Coordinate with operations to move parts/material and expedite orders.
• Operate forklift or hand truck to move materials or products.
• Review shipping/receiving documents for accuracy; reject damaged items and record shortages.
