Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Fullerton, CA is seeking a Warehouse Associate II / Driver for 1st shift on-site to support production and shipping schedules. This role emphasizes safe material handling and accurate inventory management.

Under supervision, you will receive and stock raw materials, move materials through the plant with a forklift, review schedules, and ensure timely delivery of resources to production while maintaining records for audits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of shipping/receiving experience.
• 1+ year of delivery driver experience.
• Class C Driver's License.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Experience with QAD and Oracle.
• Able to pull work orders, manage dormant inventory and pack finished goods per S-71117.
• U.S. work authorization; ITAR restrictions apply.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and stocking all raw materials.
• Moving raw materials throughout the manufacturing process as needed to maintain production schedules.
• Review production schedule, schedule change notices, and reports or records of the status of work orders to identify production delays.
• Follow up on special requests or work orders from production supervisors to support departments to ensure communications of such requests, and to identify anticipated or actual delays in the delivery of resources or support services to production department.
• Perform physical counts of products/components in the manufacturing process or in storage as needed to assist in inventory audits.
• Use forklift, flat bed truck, and/or other transportation means for moving material within and outside of the facility.
