Job summary

Aerotek in Colorado Springs is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for a contract-to-hire role with a Monday–Friday 1:00 PM–9:30 PM schedule. The position focuses on unloading about 20 small trucks daily, sorting and staging materials, and preparing items for transport while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of warehouse or general labor experience, be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly, and work well in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of warehouse, material handling, unloading, or general labor experience.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 pounds during an 8 hour shift.
• Experience loading, unloading, and moving materials in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Strong reliability, work ethic, and attendance.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Unloading approximately 20 small box trucks per day containing bagged laundry and other materials.
• Moving, sorting, and staging incoming materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Preparing materials for transport to processing facilities.
• Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe work area.
• Working closely with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily activities.
• Supporting warehouse operations through accurate material handling and staging.
