Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Shipping and Receiving associate to expedite work orders through the manufacturing process and inform stakeholders about schedule status. You will move raw materials, participate in inventory audits, and support production with timely materials and accurate counts.

Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, and packing finished goods while using forklifts and material handling equipment. Candidates should have a HS diploma and 1+ year related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in shipping/receiving, prefer aerospace/manufacturing.
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Experience with forklifts or order pickers desired.
• Knowledge of scale counting helpful.
• Experience in packing and shipping.
• Familiarity with QAD and Oracle systems.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and stocking all raw materials.
• Moving materials to maintain production schedules and flow.
• Reviewing production schedules and reports to identify delays.
• Follow-up on special requests and communicate with production teams.
• Perform physical counts for inventory audits.
• Operate forklift, flat bed truck, or other transport within/beyond facility.
