Job summary

RTX in East Hartford is seeking motivated engineers for the Engineering Development Program (EDP). You will rotate through three disciplines—12 months, 9 months, and 9 months—gaining breadth and depth in mechanical and aerospace engineering while contributing to propulsion testing and validation activities.

The program offers on-site collaboration, career development, and exposure to planning, testing, and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in STEM field obtained by start date.
• Willing to travel up to 80% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Validate planning, assembly, and testing of engines per requirements.
• Coordinate instrumentation and assembly for EIPT benchmarks.
• Conduct tests, record data to support validation and certification.
• Perform engine safety and process engineering tasks.
• Support test systems operations and measurement systems engineering.
