Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, East Hartford, CT, invites engineering graduates to join the Engineering Development Program (EDP). You will rotate across disciplines, plan and perform engine validation, and gain breadth in mechanical, aerospace and related fields.

The program features three rotations totaling 12+9+9 months, emphasizing hands-on testing, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to shape your career in aviation and aerospace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Computer, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science, Data Science or STEM major obtained by start date.
• Have an accumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Must be willing to travel up to 80% of the year domestically and internationally in support of commercial and military programs.
• Prior internship experience with Pratt & Whitney or other Raytheon Technologies companies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a consistent record of collaboration, innovation, and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Validation Engineering plans, assembles, and tests engines to meet customer, quality and safety requirements.
• Act as focal for Engine Integrated Product Team (EIPT) coordinating instrumentation and assembly of hardware and support equipment.
• Record data and support validation and certification activities.
• Contribute to Engineering Development Program rotations to broaden technical experience.
