Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, tooling design, GSE design, or hardware development, preferably in aerospace or regulated industries.
• Experience designing, developing, releasing, and implementing tooling, fixtures, handling equipment, or GSE for mechanical assemblies.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools, GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFMA, and configuration-controlled documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design tooling, fixtures, handling equipment, and GSE supporting efficient manufacturing, assembly, integration, and test of flight hardware.
• Collaborate with design engineering, manufacturing engineering, technicians, quality, and operations to develop new or revised build processes.
• Plan and support builds of engineering demonstrators, test articles, and prototype hardware with hands-on fabrication support.
• Develop, release, and maintain engineering documentation including CAD models, drawings, specs, and procedures.
