Job summary

RTX, a major aerospace and defense company, seeks an electronics technician for on-site testing and assembly support in Manchester, IA. You will follow blueprints and test procedures, record results, and ensure compliance with quality systems. The role offers safety-sensitive work with FAA-related guidelines and opportunities to grow through certs and training.

Eligibility requires U.S. citizenship and a HS diploma or equivalent; AS in electronics is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent vocational education.
• AS in Electronics Technology preferred.
• Able to read schematics and troubleshoot down to component level.
• Experience with DMM, oscilloscope, signal generator, and spectrum analyzer is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprints, guidelines, or diagrams to meet product specifications and tolerances.
• Perform functional testing per established procedures and record data.
• Document acceptance or failure results and maintain test records.
• Operate hand tools, electrical/mechanical test equipment, and calibration devices.
• Load/unload electronic equipment in test beds and ensure safety compliance.
• Adhere to quality systems and participate in ACE continuous improvement.
• Meet internal/external deadlines as determined by the team.
• Pursue required knowledge/certification and follow work instructions.
