Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Assembler III to support aerospace electro-mechanical builds. The role involves assembly, soldering, wiring, inspection, and adherence to engineering standards at an on-site facility in US-Arizona.

Candidates should have a HS diploma with 2+ years of related experience and the ability to obtain J-STD001 certification. Physical tasks include lifting up to 25 pounds, standing at a workbench, and utilizing various hand tools and assembly machines.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain J-STD001 certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of basic manual or machine assembly tasks for electro-mechanical builds (Printed Wiring Board or unit Assemblies) for aerospace applications.
• Assemble electronic units using proper assembly techniques.
• Identify correct parts, components, wires and other materials by part markings, color codes, container labels, etc.
• Utilize hand tools (manual and power) and operate assembly machines.
• Solder electronic components and perform measurements with basic instruments.
• Read and interpret assembly instructions, process instructions and engineering standards.
