RTX is hiring for an onsite Electronic Assembler role in the US with a focus on assembling and repairing electronic units for aerospace applications. Applicants must have a HS Diploma or GED with relevant experience or equivalent, and IPC Class III solder certification.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 2 years relevant experience or 4 years without HS; ability to work 3rd shift.
• IPC Class III Solder Exam certification required.
• Experience with electronic assembly.
• Experience in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and repair electronic units using prescribed techniques.
• Identify correct parts, components, wires and materials for assembly and repair.
• Solder components using industry-standard techniques and tools.
• Remove suspect and failed components and install replacements.
• Operate assembly machines and ensure proper functioning.
• Measure, mix and apply chemicals and adhesives per safety guidelines.
• Read and interpret technical data, manuals and engineering prints.
• Communicate work status to team members and support staff.
• Document records clearly and maintain accuracy.
• Utilize computer skills and office software.
