Job summary

RTX is seeking an Assembly/Test IV - Team Lead in Lenexa, KS to oversee complex mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, testing, and fabrication operations. You will read blueprints, operate tools, manage workflow, perform quality checks, and ensure safety standards while maintaining a clean, efficient work area.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Comfortable performing assembly and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and specifications to assemble.
• Operate hand and electrical tools to perform assembly tasks.
• Maintain inventory and ensure materials are ready for production.
• Conduct quality checks and document defects for action.
• Rework/repair equipment per engineering changes to meet standards.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and comply with safety procedures.
• Lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods; support travel for training.
