Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to design, maintain, and improve test systems across mechanical and electrical hardware, sensors, and software. You will develop documentation and support tooling for programs, while ensuring equipment readiness and integration into the manufacturing network.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, continuous improvement, and data-driven troubleshooting within an onsite manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• At least 2 years of experience with test systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and improve test systems comprising mechanical and electrical hardware, sensors, and software.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation including schematics, calibration procedures, and maintenance instructions.
• Support the design and development of test tooling for new and existing programs.
• Contribute to new program introductions by creating test processes and ensuring test equipment readiness.
• Integrate test equipment into the manufacturing network and develop diagnostic tools for Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Troubleshoot yield failures, analyze test data, and implement corrective actions in daily manufacturing operations.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance test processes and equipment performance.
