Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks an Electrician at Arnold Air Force Base, TN, supporting Test Ops. The role involves hands-on electrical, mechanical, and control work in test facilities and control rooms under general supervision. You will participate in safety training and assist in testing and operating equipment.

Shifts vary by work priority. The position offers competitive wages, benefits, and opportunities within a joint venture between AEDC partners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Four years electrician experience in aeronautical test facility operations or six years in the trade.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Must read/write and communicate in English to safely follow manuals and procedures.
• U.S. Citizenship required for DoD security and AEDC access.

Responsibilities

• Check out and prepare plant and test facility equipment for operations.
• Prepare test articles for testing and install them.
• Troubleshoot equipment and test articles during malfunctions.
• Operate plant and test equipment during tests.
• Instruct less experienced craftsmen and maintain PPE compliance.
• Perform maintenance to keep test facility equipment in operation.
