Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC is seeking an Operating Engineer Lead at Arnold AFB, TN. You will lead a working group of crafts and operate/testing critical equipment in a high-hazard engineering environment within AEDC Test Operations.

The role requires the ability to work any shift, read technical manuals, and maintain safety standards. Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude and security clearance readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience as an Operating Engineer in an aeronautical test environment or eight years in a large manufacturing plant with high-pressure systems.
• Ability to read, interpret technical manuals, drawings, and safety procedures.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares plant equipment for operations
• Troubleshoots operating equipment during malfunctions
• Operates equipment during tests
• Installs and maintains facility systems
• Performs maintenance to keep test facility equipment operational
• Uses a wide range of hand and machine tools and testing equipment
• Complies with PPE requirements and company policies
• Performs other duties as required
