Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks an Electrical Systems and Controls Engineer to support TOS II at Arnold AFB, TN. You’ll operate and maintain critical infrastructure, handling motors, compressors, and data acquisition systems to deliver data validating aerospace designs.

You will advance national security by ensuring readiness of electrical equipment and facility control systems, collaborating with multiple stakeholders and maintaining safety standards in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
• Grade07 requires 2+ years of relevant engineering experience; MS degree waives experience.
• Must be able to obtain DoD Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop system and subsystem requirements.
• Design system configurations, sketches, layouts, specifications, and calculations.
• Instrumentation and control system design, development, maintenance, and operations support.
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and coordinate corrective maintenance to restore service.
• Verify and validate systems prior to test execution; update documentation.
• Collaborate with design engineering, fabrication, DoD clients, and contractors.
• Develop maintenance plans with Asset Health Assurance personnel.
• Perform system safety hazard analyses and write operation/maintenance instructions.
