Collins Aerospace in Rockford, IL seeks an Electrical/Test Engineer with hands-on experience in control panel design, LabVIEW development, and NI hardware platforms. You will design test systems and support verification and validation for aerospace test equipment across production and R&D environments.

The ideal candidate will grow expertise in aerospace test systems, data acquisition, and LabVIEW while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Designs control panels, selects components and documents schematics.
• Demonstrates LabVIEW development and NI hardware experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update LabVIEW software for test equipment in Windows/RT/FPGA environments.
• Specify and implement NI cRIO, cDAQ and PXI hardware solutions.
• Design electrical control panels and circuits for aerospace test equipment.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
