Job summary

Johnson Service Group is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer with LabVIEW experience to design, validate, and troubleshoot electrical systems for aerospace applications. The role requires a minimum of 5 years in electrical engineering, embedded systems, or electronic test development, preferably in defense, and may involve supporting certification activities.

The position is based in Chatsworth, CA, with work involving advanced aerospace technologies for flight and simulator instrumentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, embedded systems, or electronic test development, preferably in aerospace/defense.
Experience performing unit, integration, and system-level testing.
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize electrical hardware and embedded software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in fast-paced cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, and validate electrical systems, embedded software, and automated test equipment for aerospace applications.
Support product certification activities and develop ATPs, test programs, and test fixtures.
Diagnose circuit failures to component level and repair using standard test equipment.
Prepare technical documentation, engineering reports, and design records.
Apply lab testing and troubleshooting skills to verify product performance.
Operate and troubleshoot LabVIEW-based test setups and related equipment.
