Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Test Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and validate automated test systems for aerospace hardware and avionics. You will own test procedures, build fixtures, and work with design, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure safety and certification requirements are met.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with NI TestStand and LabVIEW, strong electrical fundamentals, and familiarity with aerospace test standards such as DO-160 and MIL-STD-810.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience developing automated test systems using NI TestStand and LabVIEW.
• Strong electrical fundamentals, signal measurement, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with aerospace test standards (DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test systems for aerospace hardware using NI TestStand and LabVIEW.
• Develop test plans for unit-, subsystem-, and system-level qualification and environmental testing.
• Build custom test fixtures and interface hardware for automated and manual testing.
• Prepare test reports and technical documentation for reviews and certifications.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure compliance.
