Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to build a pipeline of top talent for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems. You will collaborate with hiring managers to align technical requirements with strategic recruiting plans, sourcing candidates from diverse platforms, and guiding candidates through a rigorous assessment process.

You will work closely with engineering and business teams in a fast-paced startup, shaping the talent strategy, and promoting CesiumAstro’s value

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in recruiting within manufacturing, production, and corporate environments.
• Experience recruiting for Test, Manufacturing, GA/Support functions, and Executive positions.
• Strong networking skills and the ability to connect with passive candidates.
• Experience with full life cycle recruiting (screening candidates, consulting with hiring managers, facilitating interviews, and extending offers).
• Proven ability to use recruiting techniques, such as cold calling candidates, planning and executing networking events, locating industry experts and coming up with creative ways to interact with them, and developing original focused sourcing campaigns.
• Ability to manage multiple high priority, technical requisitions at one time.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with hiring managers to understand the technical requirements of each role and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Proactively source, identify and engage top-tier candidates for various roles in Test, Manufacturing, GA/Support functions, and Executive, and other relevant disciplines.
• Effectively assess the technical ability and aptitude of candidates for complex engineering roles.
• Consult with hiring managers regarding candidate backgrounds and make recommendations.
• Engage in full-cycle recruitment from screening applicants to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit to negotiating and extending offer packages.
• Utilize various sourcing techniques, including job boards, social media, industry conferences, and networking events, to build a strong pool of qualified candidates.
• Assist with a wide array of additional functions as necessary within a high growth startup.
