Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer to design and integrate actuation systems for aerospace applications. You will analyze requirements, decompose system and component tasks, and support hardware-in-the-loop testing to ensure robust performance across flight control actuation platforms.

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Program Manager, this hybrid role requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical field and a minimum of 3 years of Systems Engineering experience;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Minimum of 3 years of Systems Engineering experience.
• Experience with HIL testing and MATLAB/Simulink is preferred.

Responsibilities

• System and component requirements analysis and decomposition.
• Actuation system integration and component development.
• Mechanical systems design and component controller integration.
• Electro-Mechanical system modeling and analysis.
• Control architecture and design.
• Root cause investigations and corrective action.
• System verification and customer technical interface.
• Delegate tasks effectively within the team.
