Job summary

Collins Aerospace invites motivated students to join a full-time co-op in Cedar Rapids, focused on designing and developing displays for commercial and military avionics. You will merge classroom theory with practical engineering under expert mentorship, contributing to display technologies and aerospace standards.

You will collaborate with a team of engineers, tackle real-world challenges, and help implement changes to processes while gaining hands-on experience in optics, MBSE, and design

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 60 credit hours by start of internship/co-op.
• Experience working on collaborative projects and teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday–Friday co-op session January–July/August.
• Merge classroom knowledge with practical engineering via display design and development for avionics.
• Work with engineers to design displays for commercial and military avionics.
• Tackle challenges and apply problem-solving in a hands-on environment.
• Contribute to changes in product design or development processes.
