Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 6–12 months of experience in surface treatment or related manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a number of surface treatments and cleaning equipment to prepare turbine engine parts.
• Perform masking and media finishing operations where methods and processes are developed and closely controlled.
• Work from verbal and written instructions and operation sheets to set up, operate, and adjust surface treatment equipment.
• Run test pieces and reoperate rejected parts following prescribed repair instructions, checking visually and with gauges.
• Carry out routine servicing such as operator checklists to keep equipment functioning properly.
