Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Supply Chain Reliability Engineer (Falcon) to lead reliability-focused improvement projects across the supply chain, production, and engineering teams. You will analyze reliability data, drive supplier performance, and implement quality signals to meet program goals.

You will work collaboratively across functions in a hands-on role to reduce risk, improve quality, and drive continuous improvement in a high-volume aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality systems, quality assurance/control, and/or manufacturing/production.
• Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9000 and/or Nadcap AC7004.

Responsibilities

• Identify and own reliability-focused improvement projects to help the Supply Chain team meet its reliability goals.
• Identify and analyze trends in Supply Chain Reliability data and drive improvements in supplier performance, drive reduction in non-conformances on purchased parts.
• Interface with Supply Chain, Production operations, Inspection, Shipping/Receiving, and Engineering teams to develop appropriate quality signals and processes to meet overall program reliability goals.
• Maintain established quality processes and necessary procedures to ensure the identification, segregation, control, and disposition of all nonconforming materials, parts, components, and subassemblies at the business and supplier level.
• Identify opportunities for risk reduction and removal of complexity in designs and processes to improve quality performance, collaborate with integrated product teams to drive improvements and address high-impact and recurring non-conformances.
