Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Build Reliability Engineer (Falcon/Dragon) to help ensure reliability of flight hardware from design through production and operation. You will collaborate with design, manufacturing and flight teams, using data to drive improvements and reduce risk across the vehicle.

You will implement Lean inspection plans, conduct regular build quality reviews, and investigate production failures to identify root causes and preventive actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics is required.
• 1+ years in manufacturing, quality or design engineering (internships/counts).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills requested.
• Experience with Lean quality methods and quality tools desired.

Responsibilities

• Partner with design engineering and manufacturing to create quality plans for flight hardware.
• Develop and validate Lean test and inspection processes to meet quality goals.
• Monitor product/process success during ramp‑up with quality tools.
