Lanteris Space Systems in Mountain View, CA seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support fabrication, assembly, and testing of spacecraft structures, panels, and cylinders. You will create and release documentation, and collaborate with technicians and engineers to ensure quality and efficiency.

The role requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, a engineering degree with 2+ years of experience, GD&T knowledge, and proficiency with calipers and micrometers.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or permanent resident required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of General Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to use calipers and micrometers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Create and release documentation to fabricate, assemble, and test spacecraft structures, panels, and cylinders.
• Collaborate with assembly technicians and engineers to ensure high quality products produced efficiently.
• Work with Tooling Engineers to determine tooling required for fabrication of quality structures.
• Resolve production issues that arise in manufacturing processes.
