Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; four years of additional experience may substitute for a degree.
• 2 years of relevant work experience in design.
• Experience with design software.
• General Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
• Ability to use general measurement tooling (calipers, micrometers).
• Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Create and release necessary documentation to fabricate tooling used in the assembly and test spacecraft structures, panels, and cylinders.
• Collaborate with assembly spacecraft designers and manufacturing engineering personnel to build tooling for high-quality products and efficiency.
• Work with assembly technicians and engineering personnel to resolve tooling-related production issues.
• Perform tooling procurement duties on backlog and new programs as needed.
