Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced engineer to design and analyze spacecraft structures, from composites to metallic parts, supporting the Lunar Transportation system. You will create detailed 3D models, drawings, and interface docs, while collaborating with NASA and internal teams to enable safe human spaceflight.

You will lead test planning, data analysis, and tool development, while ensuring cost-effective manufacturing and robust integration across subsystems.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering and 3+ years in aerospace/structures.
• Strong CAD, GD&T, and 3D mechanical design skills.
• Experience with structural analysis and material selection.
• Familiar with cryogenic environments and vehicle load paths.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, develop, and test primary/secondary structures and assemblies.
• Create 3D models, drawings, installations, and interface control documents.
• Provide manufacturing support and guidance for integration.
• Support configuration development and trade studies.
• Create flight hardware test plans and documentation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage test data.
