Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Structural Welder for Massey’s Test Site (Starship) on the night shift. You will fabricate and repair stands and structures enabling Starship tests and launches.

The role requires welding across SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW with attention to AWS/ASME standards, safety, and quality in a high-energy, iterative environment. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of hands-on welding experience across SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW, with FCAW‑G experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute welding assignments for constructing and repairing site structural stands and components.
• Cut, trim, or scarf metal objects and fabricate components to precise dimensions.
• Interpret engineering drawings to plan operations under lead welder supervision.
• Operate welding and flame-cutting equipment to join metal components for durable forms.
• Visually inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Maintain and follow safety, licensing, and certification requirements.
• Collaborate across teams to improve processes and reduce turnaround times.
• Adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
