Saab is expanding its advanced manufacturing facility in West Lafayette, IN and seeks 3rd shift Structural Assemblers to build the U.S. Air Force T-7A Red Hawk aft fuselage.

Starting pay ranges from $23 to $25 per hour, with a $2 premium for 3rd shift, plus comprehensive benefits and on-site training. Responsibilities include following standardized procedures, reading engineering drawings, and supporting continuous improvement while training new employees and maintaining high quality and safety

Qualificações

• 2+ years of relevant assembly or hand tool experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ability to select and safely use appropriate hand and power tools.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, including bending and lifting.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble aircraft structure per procedures with 100% quality according to requirements.
• Install systems and perform final assembly on the fuselage.
• Support daily continuous improvement and teamwork.
• Conduct functional testing of assemblies and systems.
• Train new team members and transfer knowledge.
