Job summary

Saab in West Lafayette, IN is seeking 3rd shift Structural Assemblers to build the aft fuselage for the U.S. Air Force T-7A Red Hawk. You will assemble aircraft structures, train new teammates, and contribute to a state-of-the-art production system.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of relevant assembly or hand tool experience.
• Reads and interprets engineering drawings and specifications.
• Follows standardized procedures and maintains consistent quality.
• Willing to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble aircraft structure and final assembly on fuselage per procedures.
• Train new team members and transfer knowledge to others.
• Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and morale.
• Complete functional testing of assemblies and systems.
• Sign off on completed work per specifications.
