Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, or Civil) with 2+ years aerospace structural analysis experience, or Master’s degree with no experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years experience for Principal; Master’s degree with 3+ years; PhD with no experience.
• Experience in bonded composite or metallic structural analysis of primary/secondary aircraft structures.
• Proficiency in structural analysis methods and documentation including hand-sheet analysis and large FEM manipulation.
• Familiarity with finite element methodologies in aerospace structures.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress analysis for primary and secondary structures.
• Review analyses, drawings, and repairs for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with other disciplines during design development.
• Present structural issues and solutions to management and customers.
• Maintain and improve part designs, equipment, and systems for post-production deliveries.
• Develop practical solutions aligned with program objectives.
• Evaluate as-built products for compliance with standards and specifications.
• Use structural analysis methods and large FEM tools.
