Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Strategic Sourcing Specialist in Phoenix to partner with aerospace manufacturing leaders. You will execute FAR/DFARS compliant subcontracting, perform supplier market research, gather solicitation data, and negotiate terms to drive best value for critical programs.

Expect a 37.04/hour pay rate, with responsibilities spanning supplier relationships, procurement compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure program success in a highly regulated aerospace

Qualifications

3+ years in procurement, supply chain, contracts or finance.
Experience with DoD subcontracting and FAR Part 15.
Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and the DoD procurement lifecycle.
Aerospace, defense, or other regulated-industry procurement experience.

Responsibilities

Execute FAR Part 15 subcontracting activities in compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations.
Conduct supplier market research and evaluate supplier capabilities to identify the best sourcing opportunities.
Gather and manage solicitation documentation, including engineering drawings, supplier scorecards, and historical purchasing data.
Support subcontract negotiations involving pricing, terms, and conditions.
Manage key supplier relationships and develop sourcing strategies that deliver the best overall value.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement compliance, meet program requirements, and support successful program execution.
