PDS Tech Commercial in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Principal Subcontracts Specialist to lead FAR Part 15 proposals and the subcontract lifecycle for aerospace programs. Develop supplier strategies, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance while guiding a multidisciplinary team.

This leadership role requires 5–7 years of sourcing or contracts experience, exposure to DFARS/FAR, and proficiency with SAP and MS Office. Competitive hourly pay and ITAR/EAR compliance are included.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, contracts or related fields.
• FAR Part 15 subcontracting experience required or preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead FAR Part 15 proposals and subcontract execution from proposal to order.
• Develop negotiation strategies and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and gov regulations.
• Partner with Pricing and cross-functional teams to deliver compliant subcontract packages.
• Manage key program suppliers and sourcing strategies to optimize cost and value.
• Lead assigned commodities within Mechanical Assembly Government Sourcing.
• Train and mentor team members to improve performance.
• Negotiate subcontract terms, pricing and conditions aligned with program objectives.
