JOB TITLE: Procurement Specialist LOCATION: Phoenix, AZ PAY RATE: $37.04/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (5 months with potential for extension)
• Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation

Qualifying Questions:

• Are you a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) as defined under ITAR regulations?
• Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

Summary: Executes FAR 15 subcontracts in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations. Conducts supplier market research and evaluates supplier information to identify the most qualified suppliers. Obtains and manages solicitation documentation including drawings, supplier scorecards, and historical purchase data. Supports subcontract negotiations including pricing, terms, and conditions. Manages key program suppliers and supplier relationships. Develops supplier strategies that deliver the best overall value. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement compliance and program success. Supports completion of compliant FAR 15 subcontract packages.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Procurement, Supply Chain, Contracts & L&C, Business, or Finance.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
• Preferred: DoD procurement subcontracting experience with FAR 15.
• Preferred: Strong understanding of the DoD Procurement Life Cycle.
• Preferred: Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS).
• Preferred: Experience managing various subcontract types including FFP (Firm Fixed Price), CP (Cost Plus), and CPIF (Cost Plus Incentive Fee).
• Preferred: Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD).
• Preferred: Ability to understand, evaluate, and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
• Preferred: Procurement experience within defense, aerospace, or similar regulated industries.
