Job summary

Chromalloy Corporation is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to move materials, parts, and finished products across our aerospace manufacturing operation. You will receive shipments, prepare outbound orders, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure on-time, safe, and accurate shipments to production schedules and customers.

The role supports production lines and customer deliveries, requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and other shipping documents.
• Count, weigh, and record incoming/outgoing materials.
• Prepare products for shipment including packaging, labeling, crating, and documentation.
• Determine appropriate shipping methods to meet delivery requirements.
• Process shipments using carrier systems and shipping software.
• Route materials to departments and work centers.
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
• Investigate and document shipping discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials.
• Monitor inventory of shipping supplies and packaging materials.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
• Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility.
• Support handling of hazardous materials per safety requirements.
• Perform data entry and record-keeping using Excel and Word.
