Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support the flow of materials, parts, and products. You'll receive shipments, prepare outgoing orders, and maintain inventory records to keep operations efficient and safe.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and 1+ year in shipping or warehousing. Forklift certification may be required, and familiarity with inventory systems is a plus. On-site work in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Clear English communication, reading, writing and comprehension of work instructions.
• 1+ year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, logistics, or material handling experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions, shipping documents, and safety procedures.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn inventory, receiving, and data-entry systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments per requirements.
• Record received and shipped materials in inventory systems.
• Route incoming materials to the proper departments and work areas.
• Identify and report shipment discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials.
• Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records in accordance with procedures.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
