Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Driver / Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support safe movement of materials, products, and personnel. The role blends shipping/receiving duties with shuttle driving on the 3rd shift.

You will help ensure accurate deliveries, inventory control, and safe employee transport to parking areas. Responsibilities include inspecting shipments, labeling, loading/unloading, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
1+ year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or related experience.
Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic computer skills, including data entry and barcode scanning systems.
Ability to perform basic math calculations and accurately verify counts and quantities.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Transport employees safely between designated parking areas and the facility at shift start/end.
Receive, inspect, count, and verify incoming shipments against orders and invoices.
Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing shipments for timely delivery.
Load, unload, and move materials using forks, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Route incoming materials to appropriate departments.
Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records with scanning systems.
Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies and packaging materials.
Handle hazardous materials and waste per procedures and regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and transport providers.
